Mentally ill homeless man sentenced to nearly 5 years for threatening Bush

: A mentally sick homeless person adult male will function 57 calendar months in federal prison house for menaces he made against President Saint George W. Bush.

Timothy Virginia Wade Pinkston threatened in August to hit Bush. At the time, the 48-year-old was committed to a infirmary psychiatrical unit.

Court records state he repeated the menace to Secret Service agents, saying he did not like the president's foreign policy or his handling of the Republic Of Iraq war.

Pinkston told a federal justice on Wednesday that he is HIV-positive and bipolar and have a matter maltreatment problem. He said he had been taking drugs and imbibing when he made the menace and did not cognize what he was saying.

He was previously charged with threatening the president in 1991 and also sent threatening letters to the governor of Georgia. Today in Americas
